Music Ministry

When the New Community Church family gets together, our main purpose is to communicate a caring God to a contemporary culture…certainly through music.  For those of us in the Music Department our purpose is to first of all, be worshippers.

We then try to lead worship in such a way that our congregation experiences His presence in every service.

While excellence in music is not our first priority, we still believe that God deserves our best.  Our music ministry is open to those willing to make a commitment to rehearsals and a commitment to an active relationship with Christ.  The reason we get together is not music.  It is to join together in praising the living God and to enjoy His presence in our lives.
